The Blackout (2019)

I wasn't expecting too much from this movie, however. The good points: Excellent action, CGI and fightscenes Not so good: Acting (actors disinterested and emotionless) plot and alien makeup, storyline.

The movie would have been excellent if only the actors looked scared, pissed and showed emotions when speaking. I watch the English dubbed version and the voiced translations showed more emotions than the actors gave away.

Lasted 30 minutes longer than it should have, ended without answering any questions abruptly. Maybe the script writers didn't have an end themselves.

Lockdown would not be a reason to watch this unless you feel the need to watch every sci-fi movie ever made.

Fmovies: This is a very good sci-fi movie. Probably the best in recent years. Very puzzled with some low ratings as I've certainly enjoyed it from start to the end.

Took a while for this movie to take off, and when it did it actually had a lot of good things going for it, the premise is a cocktail of a lot of different ideas jammed into entity. I'm a sucker for Sci-Fi things, and this movie delivered on a lot of those fronts. I'm split 50/50 if i actually like this movie more or less.

In the end of the day, i was entertained enough to finish the movie without feeling like I've wasted my time, I could potentially re-watch it to see if my opinion would change, as of now, yeah, this movie was better than average.

Oh and props for the guys who borrowed a specific design aesthetic in the end, it was the high point of the movie for me, not going to spoil what that is, you're going to have to go see it to understand.

The Blackout fmovies. I don't care what anyone says this is a fantastic Sci-Fi action thriller! 2 hours where I did'n't get my eyes off the screen. The movie really takes you into it. CGI is great and the action is brilliant!

If you're a Sci-Fi action fan, this is for you!

For modern Russian movie industry sci-fi genre is quite a thin ice. But the Blackout can be called successful attempt to fix the situation. The plot seems not too complicated, but characters are impressive, idea and philosophy are deep enough, graphics are impeccable. For me, as a Russian the film is a point to pride.

Well made, good acting, interesting story, good effects and a story told outside of mainstream Hollywood mould.

A solid movie and worth the time.

Any chance of a sequel?
