See You Yesterday (2019)

If had I time machine I'd go back and not watch this. Obvious joke, but not all time travel movies are worth you time. This ain't.

I begins ok, looks and plays like a Nickelodeon-production. Until the f-bombs start coming. Then n-bombs. What the heck is this? It's colorful and with young actors, but they keep swearing, it's pretty weird.

Then one of the characters does something so mind-numbingly stupid and out of character, that I pretty much lost all hope from there. Plus, the weak-ass "political" message: cops are evil and kill black people for sport, is so on the nose it's embarrassing. Even though this movie shows plenty of black-on-black crime, it's still made out to be solely because of racism. Look, racism is real and it sucks, but does EVERY movie with a black cast have to be about the same thing? Come on.

And here's the kicker. This movie is weak with a sucky script, the IMDB-rating as of now is 4,9, but the critics seems to love it! I wonder why. Could it be because of the weak-sauce "politics" on display?

To be fair, the main characters do a good job, acting is pretty alright. They are pretty and charming. And Michael J Fox has a cameo, so watch the first 5 minutes or so, to catch him. Then skip.

Fmovies: Don't waste your time. The first hour is pretty good, then the rest of the movie is awful.

Started off pretty good then flopped near the end with an unnecessary cliffhanger. Overall the story and cinematography was not bad at all but it honestly was really frustrating to watch.

See You Yesterday fmovies. After years of using IMDb without an account, THIS is the thing that got me to create one and make a review.

The movie is slow, full of plotholes, unexciting and has no ending.

It is absolutely bad, and has a very unfitting soundtrack.

And if you need any background, while I really enjoyed Prime and enjoy the time traveling idea, I went into this movie expecting just a dumb flick to pass time, my hopes couldn't possibly be any lower, and still here I am writing this.

This movie is such a disappointment. You will watch it because you want to see a time travel movie, and then see this movie flop arround attempting to be a time travel movie and completely waste all of its potential.

Why does it waste its potential? Because its more focused on showing you about how black people can get targeted by police and then get killed by police...when these people are not complying with police, are resisting arrest, and are communicating poorly and with complete beligerance.

In fact this movie seems to be more about black lives matter than time travel, but even it fails at that because the people getting killed by police are fighting the police! So this movie even disappointed me as a social activist. But as a social activist, I want my recreational movie viewing to be recreational. When I sign up to watch a movie about something like time travel, I want it to be about time travel. Not some social issue that I already focus on enough in my work life!

But thats not all, here is a list of everything wrong with this film:

-The dialogue is horrible -They are completely unscientific and unrealistic about the time travel, while making it seem like these children are some kind of scientific prodigies and like they have this science completely down. -They exhibit the worst behaviors and stereotypes of african american culture and it is a shame to watch them playing into these stereotypes (while driving the black lives matter and black people get targeted by police message home). -The supposed geniuses who invented this time travel act completely stupid and immature outside of having invented time travel, its ridiculous -The stupid immature behaviors, and poor use of language and communication of the characters in the movies creates all of their problems along the way, and then perpetuates them instead of solving them like any person of normal intelligence would be able to. The characters never seem to use common sense and do the right thing. And it is painful to watch these easily avoidable or solvable problems turn into people getting killed and such. You will be watching incredulously thinking to yourself "OMG why did you do that? Stop!" "Why aren't you just using your words?" "Why the hell are you acting like that?" Its just crazy. -The ending of the movie has no ending! Every story needs a beginning, middle and an end. This one doesn't have an ending! It leaves you with no conclusion, no resolve. Just as you thought the movie was climaxing and going to bring everything to a resolution and make all of the tension created by all of these badly behaving characters and the problems they cause be worth it and that they are going to fix things and learn their lesson...guess what? NOPE!!! The makers of this movie decided to not only make this film anti-climactic, but completely without an ending altogether. So you never even get to know what happened. A story like in The Sopranos may have been able to do this at the end because that show had already climaxed several times, and it leaves you with something to think about and you can come to your own conclusion about what might have happened. The only thing you will be thinking after watching this, and the only conclusion you will come to, is "Wow what a waste of time that movie was."

....give me a break. Endings like that should be banned. Just bloody lazy.
