Hot Pursuit (2015)

Pretty Good Film and very similar to an old 80's favorite "Midnight Run" , (which grossed $38Million in '88, comparable to $300 Million in today's dollars) starring Robert Dinero, Charles Grodin, and tough guy Dennis Farina (one of the best hard-nosed tough character actors of the last 30 yrs). Similar to Reese Witherspoon's Role of the Police Officer transferring Beautiful Vengara as a key Protective Custody Criminal witness person across multiple state lines, back in 1988 Federal Marshall or BOunty Hunter Robert Hunter had to transfer Mafia Accountant Charles Grodin from Coast to Coast. "Hot Pursuit' has a lot of High Speed car scenes A great Climatic end scene with Mob Boss Dennis Farina made "MidNight Run' funny and gutsy, just like "Hot Pursuit"'s high speed chase scenes, Reese using a Gun, and provocative sensual chemistry of both leading ladies makes this film fun to watch, as well. Hopefully it will garner will more $$$ Revenue than Sandra Bullock & Melissa McCarthey's 2013 hit film 'Heat' which grossed $159 Million.

Fmovies: Sitting outside for weeks in front of my local theater waiting for Hot Pursuit, I met some really interesting people who were really digging my commitment to see this movie. I finally got in line, went to the front of the theater where nobody sits, and had a blast! But wait, this was during the previews. The movie finally started, and the action was intense and non-stop. The acting by these two Oscar-caliber people will get your pulse pounding. The plot moves along like syrup going up a tree in Maine in January, the screenplay written in meticulous detail like the deflate-gate investigation, and the ending is as satisfying as the one in Jaws IV. See this movie. Redbox won't do it justice. It's an instant classic.

second. go with the flow.

third. laugh till your belly hurts.

this is a cute and amusing, albeit formulaic, flick. that said, I am a fan of the Witherspoon. and of the typical hot Latin mamacita of the sofia v. type.

there is nothing really new here. you have seen it in every hate you/love you buddy flick ever made....however, it is well done for the genre and worth the view.....and it is funny and amusing. its entertaining, and so worth the price of the ticket.

Hot Pursuit fmovies. I read reviews about how terrible this movie was so I went into the cinema not expecting much.

I don't think I stopped laughing!, I loved this movie and thought Reese and Sophia were brilliant together. Great show and would go see it again for sure.

Its a comedy, its light hearted and its great!.

Plenty of gags, good laughs and even some girl on girl action which was hilarious.

Don't listen to the snooty critics.

Go have some fun and enjoy this comedy.

Don't leave at the finish, wait for the bloopers at the end!!

I looked on here before watching the movie and saw that a lot of people were hating on this movie, but I decided to watch it anyway. I was entertained. It was funny and you grow to like both Reese and Sofia.

I didn't watch the trailer so I didn't know what to expect. I just saw that it was labeled as action and comedy and I saw Reese was one of the main stars so I figured it couldn't be as bad as everyone is making it out to be.

I'm not quite sure why people found the jokes offensive in here. People gotta lighten up. It's a comedy movie. Everyone that wrote that it was offensive is being a little too uptight. Just go in with an open mind and don't take things too seriously and you will have fun.

If you enjoy movies like Miss Congeniality, Legally Blonde, and Spy you will definitely add this to that list of titles in your brain that you enjoyed watching with someone.

If you are wondering if you should watch it or not, I say you should. It was funny and enjoyable. Would make a good date movie.

I didn't expect much and I was let down anyway. Sitting alone and staring at a wall would have been more enjoyable than watching Reese Witherspoon feign awkwardness as joke after joke fell flat.

There is a painfully interminable fight scene where two characters fight over a gun that bounces all over a hotel room. It was supposed to be funny, I guess. This sedative of a movie refused to give me a single genuine laugh. I think I chuckled at some point during the movie, but can't remember when. It was a mild chuckle, at best, and not worth the time to recall it.

Every single scene that was supposed to be emotional felt forced. You know that scene in buddy comedies when the characters realize they kind of like each other? This movie has that scene. The characters start laughing and sharing personal information for no reason. They have no reason to like each other and neither one says anything funny, yet the scene is added anyway.

One boring scene after another streams along and they are followed by more boring paint-by-numbers "buddy comedy" scenes. I hope the actresses got new houses or something from their paychecks. At least then someone will have been rewarded for slogging through this bog of blandness. Avoid this movie at all costs--even if you face divorce for refusing to watch this film with your spouse, choose a life of loneliness. It'll be worth it.
