I am up to 1.08hrs and it suddenly gets good? The actors were brilliant yet the actors who played cops, plus the drug dealers - the drug dealer lead actor all crap...
Fmovies: This movie looks like it was made with drug money.
It's just dismal. The acting is back yard acting. The writing is moronic.
And the directing is shaky cam all the way.
It's real garbage.
Possibly some of the worst acting/dialogue I've ever had the misfortune of experiencing. And, characters you don't care about, with the bonus of a weak, cliche, pointless plot. About halfway through the movie I was so bored and annoyed that I put it on background while I worked, so at least I could make productive use of my time. Just listening to the audio without seeing the actual movie, I was struck over and over by how the voices just didn't sound believable. Completely fake dialogue. No way you could believe they were real people talking to each other. Absolutely ridiculous. And, wow, bad accents, to boot.
The only reason I can see why anyone would have given this movie a positive rating is that they don't know what real acting is, or they have a massive hard-on for Liam Hemsworth. Sorry, eye candy doesn't excuse a worthless, garbage movie.
Killerman fmovies. Extreme violence and some confusing plot elements in this crime thriller, but it did keep me engaged throughout with its air of menace.
Liam Hemsworth stars as Moe Diamond, a jeweler and money launderer, whose friend Skunk (Emory Cohen) has hooked him up with some jobs for his mobster uncle (Zlatko Buric). However, Moe and Skunk decide to do a multi million dollar drug deal on the side which goes terribly wrong and all kinds of mayhem will ensue. The twists at the end just add to all the wild and crazy happenings.
Overall, if you don't mind the over-the-top violence, the explicit language, or some confusing plot elements the film did keep me engrossed throughout.
The film could have been a nice thriller with a drug lord, organized crime, nasty cops and so on. Then there is the money launderer's loss of memory. That doesn't help the plot at all, but rather slows it down. - - - - - - - - but it doesn't matter at all, because it's obviously a low-budget movie, which the film clearly shows. There are various scenes where nothing happens for minutes. For many minutes. The scene in the nightclub (in the trailer at minute one) lasts ten minutes in the film, and nothing happens at all in time. And when something happens, then there is only one very (!) shaky camera and many fast cuts. This is the easiest and above all also the cheapest trick, in order to compensate a missing action and to fake tension. you have the fast cuts also in the trailer, the wobbly camera was skilfully omitted there. however, the right film consists to 50% only of cut and wobbly camera. In this respect you should call the whole "helter skelter" rather than "film" rather "spectator fooling".
He's done this movie before. Was it the one actually set in the 70s, instead of just having that look, where he was a security guard who always wanted to be a cop or the one where he plays a jersey boy trying to hook up with a spoiled uptown brat? Either way Chris' younger brother, as I like to think of him, loves this type of role as the East coast tough kid far too pretty to be that gangster. He's good in that role too, so if you love the ex-mr. Miley Cyrus, it's cool to call him that too, you'll love the movie cause that's what it's all about. Other than that, it's a predictable crime drama that tries to distract you with a lot of empty action sequences. The film has no feeling to it at all. I never get to a place where I have any emotion towards any of the other characters other than Hemsworth's. The film has a cleaver story but you see it coming from the very beginning which screws it up. So like I said, good enough if you're feeling Liam like that. Me, not really.
