Great movie, I did not know the real events and I was shocked, brilliant performance by all the artists, especially Barun Sobti, his participation as inspector Yusuf was incredible full of nuances, I was delighted to see him. Highly recommended, congratulations Halahal team 👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Halahal , based on Vyapam scam of Madhya Pradesh is directed by debutat Randeep Jha and script is penned by Gibran Noorani and Zeeshan Qadri .The film doesn't stray much outside the main storyline and dives quickly into it.The first twenty minutes of the film evokes promise but it soon loses way and becomes predictable.The climax is anything but skillfully executed. It's so unconvincing that the point of everything in the film which occurs before seems irrelevant.The occasional humour works well through the character played by Barun Sobti,the Haryanavi police officer.Sachin Khenderkar also has given a clinical performance as a grieving faher dubious about her daughter's suicide.The cinematography and bgm fits like water into the film.Randeep Jha's direction seems like a derivative of the films belonging too the same genre i.e othig noteworthy.The film is hardly informative and Wikipedia will inform more if one wants to know the details of the scam,no extensive researches are made for the film.The film is watchable only for the lead performances.
