I wish I could erase it from my memory so I can watch it all over again for the first time.
I thought the movie was brilliant and hilarious.
Goldie is adorable. Steve is adorable. If only there was a sequel to this wonderful comedy.
Fmovies: If you like Steven Martin and/or Goldie Hawn, then this film is a "must see"! Both their characters are very typical them, and together they are dynamite.
I started laughing early in the film, and kept on laughing to the very end! The ending was a bit surprising, but good!
Peter MacNicol's character was a bit too similar to "John Cage" in the TV series "Ally McBeal". Of course without Biscuit's "special features". But since he has only a small part in this film, it doesen't spoil it.
My only question was: How could he afford it???
It was just amazing how this sort of plot has been even invented. I was absolutely astonished, because of all the turns the main couple in the movie made - and for all those who fancy Goldie Hawn, this is a movie you have to see! Just amazing!
HouseSitter fmovies. Housesitter is very clever and it had me laughing throughout the whole movie. The acting is terrific, also. I havn't laughed harder at a movie this year! My fav scene was when it showed goldie hawn at dancing lessons! It's hilarious.
Steve & Goldie are a perfect match!
Very entertaining! 7/10
Totally hilarious comedy with the adorable Goldie superbly playing a con artist who b.s.'s her way into the lives of a group of complete strangers, upsetting the existence of many and enriching others. One of Goldie's and Martin's best.
Wonderful bit of fluff, especially compared to the crude, dark or 'edgy' drek that predominates these days. Goldie Hawn and Steve Martin are great together. They should team up more often. Kudos to the writer, Mark Stein. The lies made up by compulsive liars in this film are especially imaginative.
