Excellent film. Must-watch social satire! Really unique format...don't want to spoil it!
Fmovies: I was able to catch the screening of Clickbait at the Buffalo Dreams Film Fest last year and it was one of my favorite film fest screenings of 2018. Fun from start to finish,very sharply written,well acted and shot,and a ton of laugh out loud moments,really anxious for a second viewing and hoping for a dvd/blu ray release later this year. I can never hear the word strudel again without thinking about Toot strudels and smiling.
Really enjoyed this film. I must say that I don't normally leave reviews, but I really appreciated this film. The acting was refreshing and found myself genuinely cracking up at certain moments, but I must highlight the writing in this film. Put simply, it's fantastic. It's a must watch! Thanks!
Clickbait fmovies. This film needs to be added to the bucket list of all indy enthusiasts. The acting is top-notch and the writing subperb. There is even some slightly veiled political commentary.
Clickbait is a very clever look at fame culture, but in a different light than most similar movies. It's not an indictment of the people caught up in it, but rather the society that forces them to participate in order to be successful. I saw a Q&A where the directors talked about how the whole movie is intended to get the viewer to reflect on their own choices about how they consume on the internet. That's an important message. And Toot Strudels are funny as hell!
I thought the movie was entertaining enough. its a satire movie but also with hidden messages. I watched the movie cause I watch Brandi (the actress who plays Emma) sing songs on the app Bigo all the time, and shes been in a lot of movies so it was cool seeing this one. I thought her and the girl who played Bailey were really good, they both were believable and I liked their characters. they were likable. giving it a 7 cause i felt the movie was a bit short, and there were some things I didn't quite understand but it still kept my attention.
