Maybe I have been watching too many Academy Award winning films lately or perhaps I am on Super Hero overload, but this movie really did it for me. Thrills, chills, and really good effects made it (for me) just about the best movie I have seen this year.

Sure there was a lot of screaming, running, and bright lights and sure it might often seem to venture into implausibility, but that is what I expect in my Horror/Thriller/SciFi fare. The question is, is the subject matter that far from the truth? I don't believe it is.

All speculation aside, if you want a love story, wilderness adventure, comedy, spy flick, grand splendor, or space opera of a movie, this one is not for you. But if you like a gritty, action packed, thrill ride of a screamer without the blood and gore of most thrillers, buckle up because this is one hell of a ride and I'm glad I took it.

Fmovies: A family of five on a camping trip gets more than they bargained for when they run into some nasty aliens hell bent on terrorizing and abducting them.

This one doesn't follow the oft used found footage formula of waiting until near the ending for the good stuff to happen. Rather, strange things begin to happen almost immediately.

Although there is not much new here, it is fun to follow as the action amps up by the minute. There are quite a few scary scenes and jump scares. I found this to be a lot more fun than, say, The Fourth Kind.

All in all a worthwhile time-waster. 7/10.

I hardly ever log in to this site, let alone write reviews, but I really felt the need to write one for this movie.

I stumbled across this movie when I was desperate for something to watch after having surgery. I am so glad I gave it the chance.

I have seen a lot of found footage movies, and they rarely capture such a creepy atmosphere as this one. I see that some find this movie terrible, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But, for some, it's obvious this movie leaves an impression and hits the mark somewhat.

The scares are done well in a way that you only catch a glimpse, but from the visual effects to the sound effects and music, it does a great job at getting the point across. The acting is decent also.

If you like the alien subject matter or found footage movies in general, I suggest giving this one a chance. After the tunnel scene, you should know whether you're going to like it or hate it.

I also really like the opening and closing scene where you see what happens with the camera.... that was just freaky. Also, be sure to watch to the end of the credits.

Alien Abduction fmovies. I'm going to start this with some constructive criticism: you know what failed here? The subject! After Grey Skies, Dark Skies, or to make more of a connection, Skinwalker Ranch the plot becomes somewhat used already and you are quite familiar with everything that's going on. It was the one thing that really managed to bug me, so, all in all, I had to focus on other aspects of the movie.

The acting was good, mostly believable, the characters depicted a normal family, the decisions taken during the movie were natural, the encountering scenes OK, so on a scale of one to ten, I labeled it with a 5! But I may have been a tad bit hard on it. Probably it will have a grade of a little over 5 in the end when the votes will come flushing.

Anyway, for found footage fans I will recommend it, for horror fans, again, you can do a lot worse than this, and for someone out there that is really bored, give this a try.

As I said from the title, the execution is the key. They did a good job, sad they decided to use this subject. Again!

The film was different from general similar types. In general, in such films, the monster is found in the last 10 minutes and all characters die. There is no such thing in this movie. I liked the difference for that.

Other than that, Riley, who holds the amateur camera in his hand, sucked on the character. The character was not even counted. The cameraman had better put it directly. It was a stupidly created character expected to be so silent and believed to be autistic.

Apart from that, it was given the opportunity to show the aliens in advanced technology more powerless to escape the film. This is bottoming out realism.

The movie was definitely not realistic. It was not nice either. Scared was a film that gave a sound effect and a sudden performance like all American horror movies.

I gave it 4 because the score is different only from these movies and because the tension is not too boring.

Let me start by saying this: I rate movies based on the genre, acting and technical work. I might rate a sci-fi 10, and then go on to rate The Shining 9. Different genres has different criteria!

Now for Alien Abduction.

I don't scare easily, so when I started this movie, I were expecting some cheap laughs, and no real horror-moments.

Well, I have to say I were fooled!

This movie actually succeeded in scaring me several times, and the acting is pretty good.

I thought I'd had enough of "found tapes" movies, but I definitely want more now! I rate this 7, because it's one of the better movies of the genre.

Worth a watch!
