Redeeming Love (2022)

Redeeming Love (2022) is based on a novel that I've never read, so I went into this film know nothing & this movie was hot garbage.

The only positive that I have for this film is that the production value & costume were good. Everything else was terrible, I mean this film is filled with all of the tradtional cliches in ever romantic-drama film or TV show. The acting, the story, & screenplay is god awful. Overall, Redeeming Love (2022) is a waste of time.

Fmovies: Based on the book by Christian novelist Francine Rivers who co-wrote the screenplay, I have to say this filmed was closer to an R-rating than PG-13 due to some content. The story is inspired by the Book of Hosea from the Bible, and in the book the central theme is the redeeming love of God towards sinners, but the faith-based theme from the book is down-played a lot for the movie. This story is a romance, and yes, somewhat cliché, but at it's core, it's a story of healing and second chances, learning to forgive and love oneself and others. When life has been so cruel and your walls are built so high can the love a decent, humble, godly-man ever break through? The actors were attractive and the acting was good, as well as beautiful cinematography and costumes. That being said this has some gritty and vile subject matter (child prostitution and abuse, etc.) that might not appeal to some. Although not the most original plot, I enjoyed the film and the story of redemption and love. A great chick-flick to watch with your girlfriends IMHO! 7.5 stars Feb/2022.

This is a beautifully produced and shot film. The story is touching and real....the acting is faultless. BUT, at 2 and a quarter hours, its too long and dragged out. This would have been a 9 at 1:45 mins.

Redeeming Love fmovies. They have casted great actors for the roles. This movie is truly all about love & forgiveness. It is so touching to see their journey together & how they been through. The storyline is interesting.

I'm not a romantic genre lover. However,I loved it. I could just watch the movie all the day. This is so soothing. Machel love for Angel made me believe ''True love actually exists''. It doesn't count on where we come from, what we are? True love means loving selflessly without thinking about getting it back from the person you loved.

I'm a Christian but I had a lot of iffys going into this movie one being profanity and two sexual content, but the movie ended up being very good even though I think it should of been rated R.
