Infinitum: Subject Unknown (2021)

I came to write a review after wasting my time with this total trash film but found a review that captured my sentiments perfectly Literally this movie is the same 3 minute scene repeated 40 times. Its one actress in one room, and there is no surprise ending or point to all this. Nothing interesting or mysterious. Just nothing. It is a crime to call this a movie and the fact that some people are leaving good reviews makes me sad for our species

" Arty". Pointless and incomprehensible.

If you're looking for a good sci-fi flick, look elsewhere. This is a time-loop movie that makes absolutely no sense, goes nowhere, and DOES NOT 'star' Ian McKellen. Mr. McKellen spent maybe one hour filming one two-sentence cameo that is replayed more than once. The same sentences, that is. That's the extent of his involvement. This movie sucks and is a complete waste of your time."

Fmovies: Matthew and Tori Butler-Hart made an excellent film during lockdown about parallel universes and quantum physics. The story involves a woman who keeps restarting at a set point, until she learns how to manipulate her environment. She is able to remember things from her past experiences. I liken this movie to a Choose Your Own Adventure story. Where you learn not to go down the path that lead to a bad outcome. Ms. Butler-Hart does a wonderful job of carrying this film. She is the only actor in it about 97% of the time. Her body language, and facial expressions do a wonderful job of conveying what her character is going through. I highly recommend that you give this movie a watch!

They use so many times a super high pitched noise, almost no other sounds and no talking... Watch it muted or don't watch it at all.

Infinitum: Subject Unknown fmovies. Infinitum reminded me of the style of my favorite Lost. Using simple methods and techniques, the director solves the problem of the actions of the main character, locked in a small space.

Games over time, the creak of old steps, running through mirrors, a stranger who can only be seen out of the corner of your eye, voices from the radio, a space that is increasingly narrowing around you, embodied by the talent of Tory Butler Hart. If it doesn't make you feel like you're in a nightmare, then maybe you just don't like suspense? Because I do.

And especially I want to note two cherries on top: Sir Ian McKellen and Conleth Hill, which make Infinitum even more unreal and incredible)

Did you know that this whole feature was filmed during a lockdown in Britain? This is definitely no less a miracle than parallel universes

I thought it was very good with their budget. Gotta watch for the details closely.

It took me a couple of watches to get my head round this but i'm a fan of the filmmakers so wanted to give this all my attention, and I was rewarded.

I think if you'e into your quantum physics and mind-bending stories that you've really got to think about, then you'll like this.

If you're expecting big budget then look elsewhere. There's no way I would have known it was shot on a phone if I hadn't read that though. The quality is better than any iPhone movie I've seen.

But I would love to see the version of this film they could make if they were given a proper budget and a crew (only the two of them were ever on set, which is another part that blows my mind).

And I think a lot of the lower reviews look fake to me. Maybe have a look at the actual reviews from real reviewers on here and then make up your mind.

Empire Podcast gave it 3 stars (out of 5) and I think that's a perfect score.
