Strange Magic (2015)

This is just so awesome, it's so different fun and unique! I don't like musicals but I was singing through the whole thing. I loved the storyline, the music choice, the characters, the animation style, all of it! It's so fun!

Fmovies: was somewhat trepidatious and admit going for the kids, not expecting much. have been seriously invested in the kids' cinematic education for 25+ years and as a result, seen an wide-ranging spectrum for the juvenile set. fantastic visuals, not your run of the mill animation by a long shot. subtle,intelligent humor, simple, streamlined story, and unapologetic, not-so-typical versions of the female/male leads. all of which takes a gracious back seat to the star of this film: the music. for anyone who's managed to incorporate the last several decades worth of music into their everyday lives, all of it will prove to be one long sing-a- long. for those unfamiliar, no worries: the songs are strong enough to stand on their own and the fact that they've been chosen to fit the moment is just a bonus. very pleasantly surprised and will become part of the Permanent Library

I am insanely in love with this film no it's not the best film in the world however its a good one. I love the originality of this film even though in some places it does look a bit like 'Epic' however the story line is unique. the soundtrack to this film is amazing and I can't stop listening to it. The film is visually beautiful and has a very magical feel to it. I give this film 10/10 I love it. I understand how others may find its focus on love sickening to watch however I am a huge lover of love films and find this film touching, and a great film to watch with the family. The film deals with a great deal of things that can happen when in love and its a great thing to teach children of a young age. my whole family is in love with this film its not suited for everyone however you wont know till you watch it.

Strange Magic fmovies. Good visual graphics. Interesting choice of characters. So much non-stop singing. Maybe, it would have made a difference if all the songs were original. The message is not to insult physically "good-looking" people. It only reminds us and re-affirms that "beauty" and "love" is not skin deep. It is not something superficial. It is not something you see only with just your two eyes. It may not suit the majority's approval because it is not-so-stereo-typical kind of fantasy story like the "beauty and the beast" and "princess kissing a frog prince". Definitely for the kids with pure heart. Not recommended for highly superficial-minded adults.

Everyone enjoyed this movie, from a 3 yr old up to a Granny.

It had music, singing, humour, swords, action and was beautifully animated.

Even difficult customers like the 7 and 8 yr old boys enjoyed it! That is one tough thing to achieve as they are the harshest critics.

I can understand why people may have got annoyed with all the singing, but open your heart <3

It is actually Strange and also Magical. Not what you expect and was a nice challenge on not judging people and accepting love with whoever you fall in love with.

This film is really quite good and will probably develop a bit of a cult status among animated films. It's one of those unfortunate films that was declared dead before it was even given a chance to shine in theaters and as a result was poorly marketed and thrust into a unknowing world. Really I think the film would have done better released Valentine's Day weekend since the films main theme is love, a fact I'm certain you would not have guessed from viewing the poorly edited trailers. This film is also a musical, another thing the trailers failed to mention, and does a pretty decent job on the soundtrack. However if you're going into this film without knowing the prior too facts you are probably going to be a bit jarred by how it just leaps into them. The characters (even the sidekicks) are all pretty likable, and no one is particularly annoying save for maybe one character who doesn't get a lot of screen time. There are plenty of good jokes and a little a cheesiness (the good kind). Is everyone going to like it? No, it's definitely not going to sit well with people who hate musicals and a little sappiness, but overall it's a pretty likable movie that isn't anywhere near deserving the amount of hate that it is getting. If you have a chance to see it I recommend giving it a shot.
