Having looked forward for a long time to see this film finally released, my wife and I were not disappointed. Not only did Gracie pick up from the last story and run, there was a great enhancement with the addition of Regina King as "Sam" in the story. Gracie and Sam were incredibly different, but remarkably alike.

Of course, bringing back the majority of the original supporting roles & characters was excellent - as well as the tie-in to Eric with the tearful telephone break-up.

Do not hesitate to see this film, for you will be pleased with some great lines and equally-great physical humor. I believe that Sandra Bullock is developing a physical humor persona in the style of Lucille Ball.

Great job, Sandra. Now, if only you can get your personal life in some sense of order?!

Fmovies: This following deals again about the FBI agent Gracia Hart(Sandra Bullock),nowadays is assigned by her chief(Ernie Hudson)for advertising the FBI.When she is traveling throughout the country along with the bodyguard agent named Sam Fuller(Regina King:Ray,Down of earth) are kidnapped her fried Cheryl(Heather Burns:Miss Congenialty I), Miss US, and Stan Fields(William Shatner). Then she decides to investigate by his own in Las Vegas and she knows to a rookie agent named Jeff Foreman(Enrique Murciano)deeply enamored of his sweetheart(Elizabeth Rom : Law and order)working for the local chief .Firstly she goes undercover to hotel Venice where finds a clues and makes an amusing confusion with Dolly Parton .But she investigates against the orders of local authority(Treat Williams:Everwood)using all the means to find the dangerous criminal.

The movie displays action, comedy, suspense and is pretty entertaining. This sequel appear similar characters as the first, thus her friend Heather Burns who she knew as a contestant in the Miss United States beauty pageant, William Shatner,Ernie Hudson but no Benjamin Bratt but the starring has broken with him.Sandra Bullock is sympathetic and funny though repeating her role as untameable tomboy agent.Regina King as her tough, brawny partner is likable. They form a peculiar duo ,making a special buddy movie.Lively, jolly musical score by Tongeren and atmospheric cinematography by Peter Menzies. The motion picture is correctly directed by John Pasquin. The film is diverting but not as bemusing as the first part. Rating : Agreeable and entertained. The picture will like to Sandra Bullock fans.

I just watched this movie at a preview,i'm used to seeing sequels and them not holding a flame to the original or leaving disappointed but this is one i was quite pleased with, this movie follows Gracie hart starting 3 weeks where the last movie finished off. After her realizing she cannot do her job anymore because she has such a recognizable face, so she decides to become "the new face of the FBI" doing public appearances and writing a book. The story then leads her back to her friend Cheryl aka "Miss United states" getting abducted, which makes her no longer want to sit on the sidelines and do publicity.

The movie holds onto the basics of the first one and the parts that always made you laugh it also makes reference to things that did happen in the first movie but not in a over used sort of way, they kept original characters from the first movie(and the actors that played them) yet also introduced some new ones quite flawlessly. The jokes are fresh(though some are predictable) the storyline keeps you flowing if you liked the first one you will most definitely like this one it doesn't leave you lacking.

Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous fmovies. Always carry a bowie knife if you've got a feathered tail.

This movie had moments. The woman who does the voice of Riley and Huey Freeman reluctantly portraying Tina Turner, with Sandra Bullock behind her moving her arms in a Tina-eque fashion – nice. The metatextualism of folks commenting on the Shatner's singing – nice. There was even a visual shout out to Star Trek's "The Voyage Home" that I found quite charming. The frantic car chase to save the victims with a dancer's feathered headdress streaming out of the skylight; good fun. I'm a sucker for a costume drama that involves fights and shiny things. And I do like the way Sandra snorts.

But . . . it just didn't cohere. It couldn't decide if it was supposed to be slapstick or comic drama; couldn't decide if it was absurdist or plausible. The lead's transformation into a glamor queen just wasn't psychologically or dramatically convincing.

There was true talent in this film. Real charisma. But it was lazy. One more hard edit of the script, and I think this could have been a fine film. But someone started filming before they had that final edit, and no one made up for it anywhere along the line.

Sandra Bullock returns as FBI agent Gracie Hart in the second Miss Congeniality movie. Gracie has become well-known by the public after saving Cheryl Frasier (Heather Burns) at the Miss United States Pageant, where she was working undercover. Gracie is asked to become the face to the FBI, and give a positive face of the FBI by promoting her book on TV. Gracie has become a celebrity and is no longer a real FBI agent. Her friends from the pageant, Cheryl and Stan Fields (William Shatner) are kidnapped in Las Vegas, and Gracie wants to find them. Gracie is ordered by her boss to continue being the face of the FBI, while they find her friends. Gracie can't do that, so she starts her own investigation. Her bodyguard, FBI agent Sam Fuller (Regina King), and Gracie go undercover to find her friends, and the fireworks begin. If you liked the first movie, you will love this one. I think it is even better than the first, and Regina King steals the show with her part. There is much more action and funny scenes. I actually laugh through the entire movie. This is one cute chick flick where you can just sit back and enjoy. (Warner Brothers, Run time 1:55, Rated PG-13) (8/10)

I saw this at a special screening and was very pleasantly surprised. I'm not usually a huge fan of sequels, but this for what it is, is incredibly entertaining on its own merit. I love Sandra, so that may be one of the reasons I liked as much as I did, but that being said, the rest of the cast makes this without a doubt one, of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. This will definitely get a vote of must see from me to all. The movie goes quickly at the beginning, and then it slows - but it keeps you interested. Sandra and Regina are so good together. Wardrobe is GREAT! Sandra dressed as the old woman is hilarious and there are many other great costumes as well. The slow parts only help to make this a real movie. I will make this a definite repeat movie.
