Fmovies: This movie joins a long and honorable list of sequels that should not have been made but were made anyway because of the success of the originals (think Pacific Rim Uprising or Independence Day 2 ). The sequel dropped the deeper philosophical elements of the original entirely and filled the remaining space with even more action scenes. And if you throw enough action scenes in a movie, some of them will end up being good. Unfortunately this yields a poorly paced, loud, and ultimately derivative movie, though Michael Bay would probably approve it.

The CGI effects are definitely on Marvel-level and the actors quite good, especially Alexander Petrov - who plays a very original part in this movie in a great manner! The alien-actor though seemed a bit misplaced, but mostly because screenwriter's choices - who were questionable in many places. I agree with other reviewers that action sometimes is rushed out without no apparent reason. And nice grandiose display of Russian military, on Independence-Day-level, very professionally done. As mentioned by others, I recommend watching the first Attraction movie before jumping in the second part, it will help feeling the movie a bit better; and the first part is also quite good.

Invasion fmovies. The plot contains a lot of holes and too little logic, the actors' motivations don't exist. So many moments that deserve a palm face. I don't know what's worse: this movie or the first part of this movie. Watch and laugh at how you can spend 6 million dollars to make the bad movie ever.

Right on path with the CGI, Cool idea about the water technology, the ships and the huge scale cyber attack, but they have exaggerated on the later. What they really need here is to find someone that has some sense of ridiculousness. The characters motives, actions and dialogue itself is bad. There is a lot of facepalm moments here. I could not care less for anyone, the characters are all so dislikable, especially Yulya.

The main problem of this film is that there is no sane narration, sane plot. The complete lack of acting tries to be compensated for by the loudness of the sound and visual effects. But to no avail. The complete victory of form over content. I do not recommend to watch.
