This movie was very good! It gave a clear presentation of the gospel but not in a holier-than-thou cheesy way...just real-to-life characters, facing different situations. The story line was good and compelling throughout. It is admittedly clean and wholesome (no sex/bad language)...perhaps those who gave lower reviews were disappointed in that? This movie is proof that Hollywood can make excellent movies without having to go to the gutter. As a believer I give it a 9; if I was a non-believer, I think I would still give it at least a 7. Solid cast, solid acting, solid message. It was fun too see Cybil Shepherd and Lee Majors on screen again. And Brian Bosworth (who would have thought?!) ALL the actors were good. Go see it!

Fmovies: Assalam Alaykum,

I am a Muslim woman who wears the hijab (head scarf) and believes in Jesus.

I don't want to argue with Christians about the matter of crucifixion or your belief that Jesus is the son of God....Everyone is free to believe the way he loves.

The Holy Koran Praises Jesus & The Pious Mother Mary. May Allah(God) Bless them.

What upsets us nowadays is seeing Radical and Terrorist Muslim Mercenary Muslims like ISIS who are brainwashed to defame Islam. Moreover, the Extremist, bigoted & prejudiced Pastor Terry Jones had already besmirched the reputation of priests by his evil call to burn The Koran claiming Islam is the religion of the devil!. Pastor Terry Jones did not read the holy Koran and did not witness how many people have been converting to Islam ( From Michael Jackson To Her Royal Highness Princess Diana of Wales).

There are several priests who defame Christianity in their sexual abuse of children and gay sex scandals with other priests or other woman. That does not make of Christianity A Bad Religion.

I will stop rambling now. This movie is absolutely brilliant. Jesus just like prophet Muhammad and prophet Moses came to guide people.

Movie Plot: The film begins with an opening quote from James 2:17

A pastor is shaken by a street preacher regarding his faith, which causes a chain of events for twelve different people, moving towards one cataclysmic event. Some will survive while others will not, but many lives will be changed. An older couple (Cybill Shepherd and Lee Majors) have lost their only child. A preacher (Ted McGinley) and his wife (Tracy Melchior) were unable to conceive a child. A mother (Mira Sorvino) and young daughter (Makenzie Moss) find themselves homeless, a young nurse (Valerie Dominguez) and her husband (Liam Matthews) are caught in a court case that may ruin their lives. A young mother (Madison Pettis) is about to give birth. A war veteran (Joseph Julian Soria) returns home with post-traumatic stress disorder. A cutter (Alexa PenaVega) seeks to see her father and feel loved again. A street gang is caught up in the mix when one of the members (Shwayze) unexpectedly ends up in church after a run with police officers. The core message for all involved in the drama is a simple question - "Do You Believe?".

Finally I Wish All Christians A Very Happy Easter & I Hope The Resurrection Of Jesus Will Bring Salvation & Peace Of Mind To All Christians.

Movies like Valentines Day, Airport and Crash, are like this movie with various characters plots. Brian Bosworth, nicknamed "The Boz," who played for the NFL, gives a convincing performance as Joe. A Veteran Latin guy with war experience issues. A mature married couple played by Lee Majors ("Big Valley" and "Million Dollar Man") and Cybill Shepherd ("Last Picture Show" and "The Heartbreak Kid" 1972). Altogether 12 different people that I grew to care about and their stories carried my attention from start to finish. We went as a family to watch this clean (NO sex, NO nudity) movie. My child liked the story involving the character called "Pretty Boy" a young black man that has a life-changing experience. For me, the car scene was the best scene in the movie, like the effect of a roller-coaster ride. I could tell that the Audience enjoyed the movie very much because at the end of the movie, they were chapping, giving this movie a big thumbs up.This movie has been out for 4 weeks (April 15, 2015) so the movie might run another 2 more weeks so go see it on the big screen asap. Doing the math, my best estimate calculation of viewers was 103,607,145 (so far) and ranked at number 6 according to Internet Movie Database.

Do You Believe? fmovies. I'm in ministry, and I'm all about using art to share the gospel... but this movie is just not good. The writing's bad, the acting is stiff, and the concept is pretty much a less interesting Christian version of "Crash". It also played into some racially insensitive stereotypes: the criminals were all black, the black mother gave threats of "whoopins", the unmarried pregnant girl was Latina, and all the good guys were white. I'll give the benefit of the doubt and say these things were unintentional by the writers, but the racial undertones were still obvious to those paying attention. It seems the message of the movie is trying to reach non-Christians, but it's so full of "Christianese" language and phrases that the only people who will have any idea what the heck they're talking about are those who already believe. I'm not against using film and all art forms to proclaim Jesus, but I am against doing it badly. Christians need to be creative and original, and not just emulate (poorly) what is being done in the "secular" movie and music industries. If we are to hold ourselves to higher standards throughout life, let's hold ourselves to higher standards when it comes to making art as well.

I have to admit it started a little slow at first, but loved it! It has some great messages and themes throughout and great acting! Bring the Kleenex! I saw this at an early screening sponsored by Pureflix and I thought it was fantastic. I saw the unfinished cut and will go see it again. I can't wait to see the finished product. People from all walks of life should appreciate the truth and honesty portrayed in the film.I don't like when people immediately dismiss a film because of its Christian views and say things like its cheesy. No, it's truth and a lot of people don't like to have the facts right in front of them. I hope God uses this film to touch a lot of people's hearts and get them to begin asking themselves the question, "Do you believe?"

From an innocuous beginning, to a climax that left me speechless, this movie did not disappoint. The many characters were all real, believable people. Kudos to Bozworth, Sorvino, and Astin for their portrayals. In Addition to them, seeing Lee Majors in this was a pleasant surprise. Cybill Shepard did a good job as his reluctant and grieving wife. As for the brothers in the poor black family, you will not be able to forget Pretty Boy and Kriminal. If you know someone who has returned from combat in the last 20 years, this has a man that even a WW2 generation can relate. Great camera work on the bridge scenes, hospital locale, and nice overhead shots of the Windy City. Worth the time and money to see!
